Ding Zhen, PhD, Associate Researcher. In 2012, he received a doctor's degree from Nanyang Technological University of Singapore, and has worked at the Chinese Academy of Sciences Shenzhen Advanced Technology Research Institute since the end of 2017. Mainly engaged in research on 4D printing, 3D printing (including polymers, metals, and ceramics), functional materials and devices (including soft robots), and other related fields. Published over 30 SCI papers in the field, including 2 in the Science journal Science Advances (one completed as the first author and featured on the Science website homepage in the form of images); Completed by co corresponding author. The direct 4D printing method it pioneered has received special coverage from media outlets including Scientific American and Discovery Channel, with a single article (Science Advances 2017) cited over 300 times. Hosted national natural science foundation general projects, Shenzhen basic research key projects, etc.
